Hello! My name is Stevany, and I am from Makassar, Indonesia. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in English Education, and I am excited about the opportunity to become an au pair in Denmark and experience a new culture while becoming part of a welcoming family.
I have previous au pair experience in China, where I helped care for two children, Ida and Lukas. During my stay, I supported Ida's English learning through reading books, practicing spelling, learning vocabulary, making sentences, and playing educational games. I also encouraged Lukas to communicate his needs clearly and helped him learn through everyday interactions. This experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding that every child has a different personality and learning style.
I enjoy spending time with children through simple activities such as reading stories, listening to music, drawing, playing games, and learning new things together. With my background in English Education, I would also be happy to support your children's English development naturally through daily conversations and fun activities.
As a person, I would describe myself as caring, adaptable, responsible, and willing to learn. I understand that becoming an au pair is not only about helping with childcare but also about cultural exchange, mutual respect, and building a good relationship with the host family. I would love to learn about Danish traditions, try local food, and share Indonesian culture with your family as well.
