Dear Family,

I would love to bring warmth, patience, and many years of experience to caring for your children and supporting your family. What matters most to me is getting to know each child as an individual: what makes them laugh, what helps them feel safe, what interests them, and how I can help them grow in confidence and independence. I want parents to feel comfortable knowing their children are cared for by someone attentive, capable, and kind.

I completed professional training at the English Nanny and Governess School in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and bring approximately 10 years of paid childcare experience across private homes, early childhood classrooms, and other care settings. My background includes private nanny work, Head Start, daycare and preschool settings, and work as a former Level 3 Registered Behavioral Technician. These experiences have taught me to be observant, adaptable, and calm, and to work closely with parents so that children receive consistent, thoughtful care.

I have particular experience supporting neurodivergent children and children with different communication and developmental needs. I believe children deserve respect, encouragement, and the chance to develop at their own pace. I enjoy finding practical ways to make daily routines easier, help children communicate, and celebrate the small steps that become meaningful progress.

Whether we are reading together, being creative, exploring outdoors, visiting a museum, or working through an everyday challenge, I enjoy helping children feel capable and understood. I am happy to support their routines, learning, simple meals, and child-related tidying, and to communicate openly with parents about what is going well and where extra support might help. I bring a broad background in caregiving, organization, and working with people, along with a sincere desire to make family life easier.

I am an American citizen, a native English speaker, and also speak Spanish. I currently live in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and am ready to relocate for the right opportunity. I can work legally in the United States and hold permanent residency in Mexico; work in other countries would need an appropriate legal arrangement. I am a capable swimmer, have first-aid training, and am willing to renew my expired CPR/First Aid certification promptly. References are available.

I am open to live-in or live-out arrangements and different schedules. A good relationship includes clear communication, mutual respect, and space for everyone to recharge. For a live-in role, having my own bedroom and bathroom, along with agreed time off, is important to me so that I can rest and return to the children with energy and attention. We can discuss the practical details together to find an arrangement that works well for everyone.

Outside of work, I enjoy photography, reading and writing, museums, volunteering, and discovering new places. I have tattoos and ear piercings. I do not smoke, and outdoor smoking is fine as long as the home itself is smoke-free.
