Introduction
I currently work as a Year 2 teacher and have extensive experience in classroom teaching, curriculum planning, differentiated instruction, and supporting students with varying learning abilities and needs.
I offer private tutoring in English, Mathematics, phonics, reading, writing, comprehension, and general primary school subjects. I also support primary and secondary EAL students in developing their vocabulary, grammar, communication skills, fluency, and confidence in English.
I hold the Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL) and am currently pursuing my Master of Education pathway.
My teaching approach is patient, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual needs, abilities, and learning pace. I believe in building strong foundations, encouraging curiosity and independent thinking, and helping students develop genuine understanding rather than relying solely on memorisation.
Above all, I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence.
Availability: Currently available for evening tutoring sessions and weekends, with increased flexibility from 11 December 2026 onwards.
