My name is Madeline , and I am currently a university student studying French and listening to young children. I previously studied textiles, and I have always had a strong passion for the creative arts, particularly sewing and design. I absolutely love languages — especially French — and enjoy any opportunity to practise and immerse myself in them.
I love travelling and exploring new places, as well as revisiting places I already know and discovering them in new ways. I grew up doing a wide range of sports including skiing, mountain biking, and rock climbing, which has made me active, adventurous, and adaptable.
Why I Want to Become an Au Pair & Nanny
In the future, I hope to pursue a career in early years education or become a primary school teacher. Working as an au pair and nanny feels like a natural and exciting step toward that goal.
Alongside my studies, I have been working as a nanny for a family in Scotland, helping with after-school pick-ups and drop-offs, supporting during school holidays, and stepping in whenever needed. I genuinely love supporting children’s development, creativity, and confidence, and I find it incredibly rewarding to watch them grow and thrive.
