I'm currently working as an aupair in Barcelona for a family with three boys (8, 10, and 11) and will have spent 10 months in Spain by the end of the school year. I have really loved my time here, learning how families operate in Catalunya, learning more Spanish (and a tiny bit of Catalan), and just being young and alive is such an amazing city! In the United States, I spent four years as a full-time, live-in nanny for a family with two boys (10 and 16) Before that, I was with the last family I worked for for 9 months and they had two boys as well (9 and 12). Though I've always worked for families with boys, I grew up in a family full of girls and love doing girly things! I cook, clean, run errands, chaufeur, and help with homework, so I guess I'm just a mom-in-training. I would consider myself friendly, talkative, outgoing, and caring. I'm organized, systematic in my duties, and easily self-motivated; see a task, complete the task. I like sports, crafts, music, reading, and movies. Basically, I just love life! I'm a free spirit and love to visit new places. I spent the summer of 2006 in Atlanta working away from home, and loved getting the chance to meet new people and experience a different subculture. I'm a practicing Christian, so I don't drink, smoke, or swear; I'm not someone you'll have to worry about.
